This one is the Complete tier, so it bundles in their password manager (NordPass) and 1TB cloud storage. That tier usually sits around $5–$6+ a month, so $4.49/mo isn't bad if you actually need the extra tools and storage.
If you just want the VPN by itself though, definitely hold off for a basic plan sale instead.
This one only really makes sense if someone's already paying separately for cloud backup or a password manager and wants to combine them. Otherwise yeah, waiting on a standalone VPN drop is the way to go.

In Nord, you have to switch the protocol to OpenVPN (TCP) and connect via their Obfuscated Servers that hides VPN packet headers so the firewall treats it like regular HTTPS traffic (similar to how browser proxies slip through).
Also worth testing their browser extension instead of the desktop app, since proxy traffic over port 443 usually has an easier time getting through strict work filters.
