Does this Chromebook have an SD card slot. I don't see one in the product photos. The description lists that it uses a micro card but that doesn't make sense plus I don't actually see any card slot in the photos.

ETA: Also is it worth spending the extra $100 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage?

Its always worth spending more money on a chromebook with 8gb. $100 is worth it. Chromebooks can run android and linux apps simultaneously. More ram always helps and the 128gb of onboard storage is great if you want to designate a portion for linux.

Edit: The said, for $300 you could probably find a hp or dell with 16gb of ram and better specs.

Edit edit: official spec sheet has no mention of a SD card slot. Which is odd.

I bought the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage version of this and it does not have an SD card slot.

If you plan to actually be productive with it and do more than just casually browse, listen to music, or watch shows, spending extra for 8GB RAM/128GB storage is definitely worth it. this version also has faster storage.

Looks like those are going for $400ish with 8GB RAM these days, but still a good idea. Unless they don't like MacOS.
