Got both orders canceled automatically, I don't think anybody will be getting this. Must be price error on their side

Personally I wouldn't get too picky on the specs. It's a great price. Trying to build your own with those specs would be quite a bit more expensive.

This CyberPowerPC prebuilt stands out for packing a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 Founders Edition into a price that is hard to match by building the same core parts yourself. The confirmed configuration includes 32GB DDR5 6000, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, a Gigabyte B850 WiFi motherboard, and a 1000W Gold power supply. The main concern is listing confusion around the SSD, with the page showing both 1TB and 2TB. A few early units also showed assembly or shipping issues, including a broken RAM latch and one system that would not POST, so it looks strongest for raw value if you are comfortable checking the build on arrival.

Prebuilts are way, way cheaper these days.
Wouldn't the majority of the cost go into the GPU and maybe the ram (depends on how much you want)? Everything else I've seen deals between Amazon and SD for under 300 (SSD, WC, etc) the cases I've seen for under 100.

With an average of 7 components in this rig and tax in my state , it's averaging over 450 USD per piece. I don't know 🤔

I guess that "average" part wasn't understood.

As I said before, the most expensive piece would be the GPU. Unless you absolutely need a 5080, which 99.99999% of the people in this thread won't, there's other options which won't cost a month's mortgage.

But you do you.
how did you come to the 99.99999% conclusion? do you know us?

I own a walmart PC?.. first PC I haven't built in 20years
I'm in the same boat and honestly it makes me a little sad. I loved building PC's but these days it's pretty much cheaper to get a prebuilt rig.

Mine came, it looks pretty decent. Haven't tried to boot yet, but all off the shelf parts for the most part.

Looks like it may have been damaged during assembly. One of the ram locks is broken, just had to reseat the ram and it's all good. Mike came with a gigabyte b850 WiFi motherboard

Got the computer about an hour ago, still getting things set up. I ran HWiNFO and see the following, for what it's worth:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition (16GB)
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Gaming WiFi 6
• RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000, dual channel
• SSD: Kingston SNV3S 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0
• OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit
