Details if wanted- CARB Standard: California law requires portable air cleaners to emit less than 0.050 ppm (50 ppb) of ozone to protect indoor air quality. Winix produces roughly 3 ppb (0.003 ppm) to 0.01 ppm of ozone.

The benefit of larger units is you can process more air at the same dB level. I have a C545 for a bedroom, and it really is only good for a bedroom. A C909 would be more appropriate for a living room IMO.
