Community Reviews

Papa Johns MVP Member Monday is a scratch off style promo that can unlock free cheesesticks, wings, or a medium one topping pizza, sometimes with a $5 purchase minimum. The offer often appears in the app, website pop up, or an incognito tab, and the promo code email can arrive in minutes or take up to a day. Signing in before scratching, checking the deals page or side menu, and searching email for Papa John can help. Some codes vanish after login or fail to show clearly, so the redemption flow can be finicky.

Common Questions (5)

  • The scratch-off can reveal free cheesesticks, free wings, or a free medium 1-topping pizza. Some rewards also come with a minimum purchase requirement, such as $5+ for wings or a medium pizza.

    IsitbudgetfriendlygzrecoilturkeysammichGramis

  • The code can arrive in about 5 minutes, but it may also take around a day or up to 24 hours. Searching your email for "papa John" can help surface it if it is hard to find.

  • Yes, signing in before scratching matters because the reward can disappear if you scratch while signed out. If you are already signed in, the scratch-off may not appear, so a private/incognito window can help trigger it.

    Isitbudgetfriendlysd2pSplendidKestrel5381RotoJedi

  • The promo often appears in the app, but it can also show as a website pop-up or in an incognito/private browser tab. If it does not appear, signing out, clearing cookies, or opening a private window can trigger it again.

    gzrecoilturkeysammichsd2pFabulousStranger526

  • Enter the code on the Deals page in the app or through the website side menu. Some rewards only apply after you add the qualifying items and meet the stated minimum purchase.

Of course they made this deal pretty much worthless now since it requires a $5+ purchase.

ah, this week instead of a free pizza like last week, I got a free medium pizza with a $5+ purchase. was good while it lasted
I was kind of thinking about the purchase requirements this morning when I was waiting for this week's scratch. Come to find that last week's cheese sticks did not require one and this one's wings require a $5 purchase. Not bad actually if the value of the free item ($10.29 in this case) is more than the minimum set.

3 banana peppers for $1 each and 4 Pepperoncinis for $0.50 each. Garnish the wings!

You have to input the code on the deals page in the app or the side menu in the website

Opened the app today and sure enough there is a pop up immediately with the promotion. It's a scratch off style thing. Won a free cheesy sticks with $5 minimum purchase. Clicked the claim offer button and something strange happened. It glitched, logged me out of the app, and showed me the scratch off thing again. This time I won free 6pc wings but it says JOIN NOW below that because I was signed out. Weird!

Cheesy garlic bread is a better way to go at $5.99

Even worse, last week I was able to get a free medium pan pizza. This week it's only valid on original and NY style crust. I suppose if I was ordering for multiple people it wouldn't be bad to combine the large $8.99 take out deal with this free medium, but I can't eat that much food on my own lol.

I will say, that pan pizza was damn good.

Edit: Here's my promo code for free medium 1 topping with $5 purchase. Please like this comment if you redeem it.

And we have all the folks who abused the deal last Monday to thank for that. Saw folks on a Facebook group proudly posting pics of 5-10 boxes of food they got from just as many accounts. Always the greedy who ruin it for the rest of us.

Yeah, they definitely seem to be relatively new to the app promo games and still working through the kinks. Nothing popped up at all for me last week. Today, it popped up immediately and actually came through with a code for the pizza deal. Luckily, no random logout. You might want to try updating the app before running it next week in case they're putting out more stable versions as they go. Some apps don't always prompt you to update, even if they're available.

Got my second code thru desktop Web browser this morning. This is how I got what I wanted:

1. Sign out of the browser (or open up a new browser or private window).
2. In that browser, open 2 PJ tabs, scratch off until you get what you want on the first tab, clearing cookies/data and refreshing the page if you want to reroll.
3. Once you get the code you want, don't click anything else in that tab (leave the image of the code you want up).
4. With the first tab still open, Switch the the second PJ tab and login immediately.
5. Switch back to the first PJ tab after signing in, click "Sign up" on the promo, then the login button.

It'll take up to 24 hours for them to send it to your email.

Do not sleep on this. You might not get a free item, but sometimes you can get an item that has a value 2x-3x that of the minimum. I did it today and received a medium 1 topping. So worth it!
