If you have a 3D printer, just make one of these instead. Nice little stand though if you're wanting one for your watch.
It looks like the product itself is neither "Magnetic" nor "Fast Charging". Both of these properties come from a charger that you need to supply yourself. So, it is an "Apple Watch Stand Dock", it **elevates** your charging experience.
Edit: The more I read about the product, the more I am fascinated by the lack of anything useful about it
- "Space saving design .. does not take up valuable desk or nightstand space". Would it be reasonable to say that NOT having this dock is even more space saving?
- "Easy packing for travel". Why would you add the weight of this thing to your travel bag? Hey, maybe it can serve as a more convenient alarm? Nope.
"Some Apple Watch stands allow you to position the watch horizontally so you can use Nightstand Mode as a bedside clock and alarm. This stand does not support that feature, as it only holds the watch in a vertical position."
So, why would you buy something like that?
And yet, there are 27 reviews of people raving about it, because they got a free product.
The "What? It's just a stand and I have to BYOP?" crowd who didn't read carefully will be disappointed.
OTOH, for those who don't have a 3D printer, and want the convenience of a stand of some sort, it's a small price to pay for an Al (or zinc) metal piece, which when combined with an OE Apple charging cable, will be a fully-functional, and certified solution. Not gonna fine many ready-made MFW-certified charging stands for $36. Cheap ones don't usually have MFi modules, and even some expensive charging products lack them.
And, presuming the new 10W charging cable they've introduced with the latest watch models doesn't have drastically altered dimensions and retains compatibility, this will work with the latest and greatest as well.
It will take some time for the new 10W MFW modules to be incorporated into products, and that's only for the brands that endeavor to do so.
