Chipotle's free quesadilla with a $20 purchase is mainly useful if you were already planning to order there, especially for a pair or family meal. The deal can effectively turn a normal order into a quesadilla plus another entree, and it may work best when drinks or sides help reach the threshold. The main drawback is that quesadillas are seen as overpriced for the amount of food, with smaller portions and less cheese or protein than before. The link issue also needs caution, since the posted redirect was flagged as phishing.
Families or pairs already planning a Chipotle meal, because the free quesadilla can make a $20+ order worthwhile when you were going there anyway.
Two-person orders that can add drinks or sides, because the $20 threshold is easier to reach when the meal already includes extra items.
Shoppers who want a quesadilla and two burritos in one order, because the free quesadilla effectively pairs with a second entree at the $20+ level.
People who want generous portions, because the serving size and quality have gone down and quesadillas can come with less cheese and protein.
Single diners, because the $20 minimum makes the free quesadilla hard to use without adding extra items.
Shoppers comparing value against burritos or bowls, because the quesadilla costs more than those options while giving substantially less food.
People who expect a straightforward online redemption, because the posted link can redirect to a phishing page.
