Excellent story and direction, and some of the best actors in Indian cinema. The film was awarded best movie at Indian National Film Awards. Extremely bleak movie, but a must watch for film students.
You can stream the movie for free on YouTube, but no subtitles though. The Blu-ray does have English subtitles.

asking since, in the past, I purchased a similar Bluray of another bollywood movie and returned it, since it was nothing but a copy of Youtube video ,transferred to Bluray disc.
Why pay even $5 for what is available on YouTube ?
