Fantastic deal at that price.

Roku's 65 inch Pro Series OLED stands out as a very aggressive price on a 120 hertz 4K OLED, with picture quality that should beat non OLED TVs in this range. The panel is widely discussed as an older LG sourced WOLED, likely closer to the C2 than the B6, and early impressions point to solid specs but limited brightness, with one preview putting peak HDR under 600 nits. The main hesitation is uncertainty around Roku's tuning, processor, and long term reliability, plus a reported Roku firmware issue on other models that can drop sound output until a hard reset. A tempting value if you want OLED on a budget and can live with the unknowns.
Common Questions (4)
It is widely described as using an LG WOLED panel, but the exact generation is disputed. Some comments say it matches the LG B6, while others say it is closer to the C2 and that Roku's own electronics and tuning will affect performance.
A preview cited peak HDR brightness under 600 nits, and other comments note the panel appears dimmer than some competing OLEDs. That helps explain the aggressive $800 pricing and suggests it is not a top-brightness OLED.
At $800, it undercuts the cited LG B6 pricing by a wide margin and is described as a strong value for a 65-inch OLED. A Costco alternative was mentioned at $1100 delivered, which makes the deal look especially aggressive if the panel and performance meet expectations.
One reported Roku firmware issue can make sound output disappear and force the TV into headphone mode, requiring a hard reset to recover. Separate comments also raise general concerns about quality and reliability, so it is worth factoring in support and return policy.

Sound will randomly disappear, it will suddenly default output to headphone /earphones mode, no amount of troubleshooting restores that you have to hard reset the TV every time. We bought two different models and we regret it because this has been extremely annoying.

Pro: It's OLED and the screen beats any other tech in this price range
Con: Older LG panel, dimmest of all tested OLED, features (TV settings, not the streaming software) not up to par with the big names
I don't care about the streaming part. I have apple tv.
