Roku is being acquired by Fox Corp. sometime next year, same company as Fox News. If that means anything for you, then maybe avoid Roku products from here on out. Just an FYI for anyone who doesn't know.

It uses the LG B6 panel. It lines up spec wise.

This tv just got released this month, not sure if it's a good or bad thing for such a big discount so early. Reviews seem to be pretty good though but don't see anything from rtings yet.

Speculation is that supposedly, the Roku Pro series is using the same panel as the LG B6 and the Roku Pro Series LX (not sure if that one is out yet or not) is using the panel from the LG C6 (not the Tandem panel version). Performance though will vary because Roku is using their own electronics and tuning on the panels.

I'm waiting for me extensive reviews too, I've only seen the paid promo reviews and I want to wait for others before considering it. Otherwise, this an excellent price if this is indeed competitive with the LG B6 series. The B6 is currently $1400 at best buy and the lowest I've seen this drop to on there was $1200. $800 certainly undercuts it.

Same panel as the Sony, so now it doesn't "blow it out of the water". WOLED panels are manufactured by LG, the handful of QD-OLED are made by Samsung. They are few exceptions.
