Walmart is currently offering sales on a variety of grills to make space for their Christmas inventory. Both the regular Smoque and Smoque XL are on sale for $500 each, brand new in the box. However, I managed to get the display model of the XL for just $367.80. It's worth checking around, as the Walmart I visited didn't even list them as in stock.

The price can vary. I got the Smoque XL from Walmart right after labor day at $450 when they seemed to be clearing grills in earnest. I got a Spirit E-325 for $250 mostly because I couldn't pass up the price. At the time they had a ton of Blackstone models all at least half off sticker. They have Christmas stuff out now, which seems stupid. I don't think you should sell Christmas stuff when its still 90+ degrees outside. Christmas should be put out when you put Halloween on clearance.

Just in case anyone stumbles upon this thread, keep looking. I scored a Smoque XL for $522 today at a local Walmart here in central WV despite their site saying the store didn't have any.

Can you scan them in store with your Walmart app to verify price? Nobody works in that section at my Walmart so not sure how to get actual price.

That's what I did today in Indiana. Two stores visited, three units at each $999 in store, $899 online for the XL. Will continue to monitor

I just came from North Attleboro and purchased the last one in box for 425. Word of advice for everybody saying that it's still 899 by me... Only use that online app to see if they have it in stock. Then go to the store and scan it directly. That's what I did for mine and even though on the app it says 899 it was $425.

What the OP found was a unicorn, from the dust covering it appears to have been sitting somewhere in either the store or warehouse for awhile. Being that this is also the time they're also clearing grills in general, the OP's timing was perfect to get it that low. 2 years ago I found a $50 Charbroil 240 electric grill(reg. $250), the box was covered in bird poop and dust from being forgotten about on a top shelf in a outdoor garden center for 2 seasons. Electric grills add no flavor but IT WAS FIFTY BUCKS!

I'm in Charleston. I'll have to look around. I have the EX4 now and looking to upgrade.
