This Skytech Harpy build is a strong prebuilt for high settings gaming, pairing a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 6000 memory, and an RTX 5070 in a package that compares favorably with a roughly $2100 DIY build. The 7800X3D is praised for gaming performance, and the system is described as handling ultra settings without issues. Skytech systems are also described as using standard name brand parts, which should make future GPU upgrades easier. The main concern is the RTX 5070's limited VRAM for longer term future proofing, with some suggesting a 16GB or 5070 Ti option instead.

  • Gamers replacing an older midrange rig, because this setup is a noticeable upgrade and runs modern games on ultra settings without issues.

  • Players building a 1440p gaming PC for current titles, because the price is close to a self-built system and the card handles present-day games well.

  • Upgraders who want a standard-parts tower, because the components are name-brand and the case can take extra drives and a future graphics card swap.

  • Value hunters comparing GPU tiers, because the 5070 is priced close to a 5060 Ti 16GB and the 5070 Ti is the stronger sweet spot.

  • Gamers who want a graphics card to stay strong for several years, because the 16GB VRAM configuration can limit future-proofing in demanding games.

  • Builders who plan frequent internal rebuilds, because the power supply can be hard to remove and the case may be damaged during disassembly.

Pretty solid deal if you're needing a comp in this market. Put similar together on pcpartpicker and total was around $2100.

Decent deal for most current present day games out there, but if you want to future proof your PC for a couple years this ain't it.

16GB VRAM: Best for: 1440p ultra settings, entry-level 4K, heavy ray tracing, and content creation.

Performance: Eliminates memory-related stutter and texture downgrades in demanding games like Stalker 2 on Ultra for example or heavily modded games. Especially the unoptimized, memory leak ones.

Also, the 16GB vram Offers better future-proofing if you plan to keep your graphics card for several years.

I'd advise to wait or pay a little more 16Gb VRAM, it'll be worth it in the long run.

Yeah the 5070 sucks to be honest. That's why the market has priced it similar to 5060ti 16 gb. Sweet spot is the 5070 ti if can afford it

Don't know why you were thumb down. I agree that the 5070 is a crippled card due to being cheap on vram

At that point, it's better to get a 9070 XT or 9070 non XT if you're really in a budget (before AMD increases the price again)

To the person who thumb me down is a Nvidia bootlicker

Or you could save 150 for the same exact specs: whatDoYouThink https://www.walmart.com/ip/206500...D062056FB7

Just bought this exact setup used on marketplace for $1500. Has run everything I've thrown at it on ultra settings with no issues so far.

That is even better, subjective, but I would prefer that case also.
