Good deal on its own despite being slightly over the top in the tacticool department, but whoever valued this at $200 is absolutely smoking crack.

I've been buying Hawke & Co clothes occasionally for years, mostly through TJ Maxx and online, and while they are surprisingly decent (not amazing, but decent) quality and deserve to be more known than they are, they definitely do not produce tactical type clothing.

This is about as "tactical" as the stuff you can buy at Walmart (specifically in-store), and these hoodies in particular are maybe even slightly more gimmicky than most of that stuff; I'm looking at you, hoodie strings.

Still, the gimmicky bit aside, I'd say this is still a decent deal. I'd probably throw one of these on while running errands in town and find most of the features useful in some way; I definitely wouldn't wear this camping or like kicking down doors (if that was something I actually did lol) or anything.

All that to say, $30 doesn't feel unreasonable for one of these. You should probably think of it more as a 2 for 1 sale than an 85% off sale. $100 a pop is craaaaazy talk.

"tactical" has definitely jumped the shark as a clothing adjective. "Tactical beanie", "tactical handwarmers", "tactical tee". Which particular tactics are being utilized?

Either $9.99 flat shipping, or $8.99 a month for "free shipping".

Built-in odor control LOL.

Wish these had zippers for pockets. I would lose my life without.

Weird, this is supposedly FR rated which if true, make it over $100 each easy but

THERE's no such thing as FR rating A. I double checked if there's such system outside of US and I can't find one. It should be Class 1, 2, or 3. Yes, I wear FR gears at work and such hoodies from Ariat is easily $150.

I too feel like these would be far more "tactical" if they did away with the zipper whistle and paracord string and added zippers to the pockets. Function over form.

I was looking online too, the below claims Class A but that is a good catch that US ratings are numbered which makes me wonder how true this rating is. Plus, wouldn't that be a huge selling feature if true? Another head scratcher.

https://meh.com/forum/topics/2-pa...al-hoodies

P.S. Google AI suggests class A is for building materials NOT clothing. So the rating seems entirely BS or they are creatively picking and choosing a rating they can achieve but doesn't even apply to the type of product being sold.

"Class A fire ratings and Classes 1 through 3 evaluate how a fabric or material reacts to fire, but they belong to different regulatory systems (building/interior finishes vs. apparel and curtain standards)."

The best ones to keep women away. You won't see one dare to approach.
