Awesome, glad I waited. Sneaky putting it on sale the day after the massive official stream vr sale ends.

I'll pick it up now for my frame that should be here by Friday.

Anyone own both Steam and Quest versions? I only have the Quest version (and it's not cross buy with their PC store). In theory, could the PCVR version running at 144hz with VD be more responsive vs native Quest?

Does this never go on sale? I've had a deal alert for years now, just checked.

It does not. From what I can see, in August 11th the MSRP dropped to $19.99, and this is now the lowest it's been on Steam I believe.

Correct, this rarely ever goes on sale. It had a bit of a dip over the last 2 weeks or so, even further today. Nice find OP.

Should be better with a decent rig vs. cartoon Quest. I would also like to know!

Supposedly you can upload your own tracks but don't see them on sale (may be wrong though...)

This is the perfect test for the Steam Frame, I bet with the streaming latency reduced compared to Quest 3 streaming, it is the absolute best way to play the game. While running at 144hz instead of 70ish is a huge improvement, the slight delay in controls and video compared to running it natively hurts. Also it's pretty shocking how much better blocks can look running off a computer at max resolution. There's mods to increase the visuals for Quest 3, but it tanks the framerate too much so the default is recommended.

If you already have the quest version and the quest 3 I can't imagine how something running over a network would have any less latency than something internal. It's not a graphically demanding game, it looks fine on my quest 2.
My only curiosity is if you have more control over custom songs. They way you have to search for custom songs is a bit of a pain.
