Rome is such a great series. Too bad we didn't get more. I recommend it and that price is a steal. Spartacus is great too.

ATL for Rome? Digital rarely seems to go on sale, guess it's time to pick this up after having the boxset forever.

Maybe so. But they're not going to hold it against you because they're getting a great show either way.

Rome is the easiest $10 you'll ever spend. An amazing show from a bygone era of television. It's only 2 seasons because the show cost HBO over $100 million per season to produce (that was over 20 years ago!), and not because of CGI costs like Game of Thrones (Rome barely used any CGI). The money went all into practical effects, costumes, extras, and enormous sets on location in Italy.

If HBO tried to make the show today, they would liberally use CGI and the show would probably cost more and look a lot less authentic.

I think Fandango still has no multifactor, which is a symptom of our monopolistic economy. But, finally getting Rome anyway.

Fortunately, I got Spartacus for $5 a month ago or so here on SD on a deal. I bought Rome per the comments here. I keep stockpiling shows, but never get around to watching them, ugh. Backlog of Xbox and PS5 games to the tune of 120+ in plastic wrap, double ugh
