The Logitech G305 Lightspeed is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse that stands out for strong battery life, reliable software, and comfortable ergonomics at a low price. It feels like a solid budget pick for everyday use and gaming, with several long-term owners still happy with its performance. The main drawback is the recurring double click issue, which has shown up after months or years on multiple units. It also runs a bit heavy because it uses batteries, so it suits shoppers who value price and wireless convenience over the lightest possible feel.
Common Questions (5)
It can develop double-click problems after months or years of use, including on multiple units. Some units stay fine for years, so it is a known long-term failure mode rather than an immediate defect.
Yes: it is described as one of the best wireless mice available, with strong battery life, reliable software, and good ergonomics. At this used-like-new price, it is considered a strong budget buy.
It is considered a bit heavy, especially because it uses a battery. Compared with lighter Chinese clones, the G305 weighs more and the battery adds extra weight.
The mouse can survive a spill and keep working, but the middle-click button may stop functioning afterward. In one case, everything worked after drying except middle click, after nearly two years of use.
Yes, the blue used-like-new version is listed at $15, which is cheaper than the black version at $17.70. If color does not matter, the blue option saves a few dollars.
