That sucks! Sorry to hear! I got a bonus from my job a while ago and wanted to use part of my bonus to upgrade my TV console PC from its aging RX 6700 10GB.

I had spent the last couple of weeks religiously checking Newegg for deals, and I just couldn't bring myself to spend $650+ before tax and shipping in fear that a deal would pop up shortly after purchasing.

I was actually one click away from buying an open box PowerColor 9070 for $650, but I changed my mind at the last minute. I'm really glad I did. I checked Newegg again this morning before I headed off to work, and saw this XFX 9070 pop up.

I didn't believe it at first, but as soon as I realized it was actually a 9070 and not a 9070 GRE, I clicked buy immediately. I'm glad I found it when I did. I had a feeling it wasn't going to last.

I had a 9070 xt open box hellhound ordered from Amazon resale, like new condition for $690, but canceled it after realizing the powecolor warranty doesn't apply to open box sales. I was super bummed because that was a stellar deal I stumbled across after checking listings for a couple months, only to then have to cancel it. Can't take a risk on something this expensive in case it starts to have issues months down the road.
