This pops up on slickdeals all the time but I can't make myself buy it. The shoulders remind me of shoulder pads from the 80s. They look ridiculous

Well it is from a 90s anime..
Anyway, I have a couple Wing Gundams built and it doesn't look bad in person. You can angle them down a bit to look way less obnoxious.

i grew up with glue models but whats extra cool about these is that you can actually move and pose them.

Have you ever done Lego? Pretty popular hobby. No glue involved. Also, if you want to do these well, there can be a lot more to it than just snapping pieces together.
