I've had a older model for 10 years, bought it at WMT and it's been on the back porch covered when not using. I just used it this last weekend and still worked great. I would buy another one.

Small sample, but i have a friend who has this model. It worked well but about a year into it the pad also went out. Despite barely being out of warranty, pit boss only offered to sell a replacement part for about half as much as the bbq cost. It did fix the issue but I don't think I would ever buy one after that

This is a great smoker. I've had one for years, but I have had to replace a few parts along the way. If you're not too handy, you might want to keep looking.
