We'll see how long these will last. Will be sealing them up with silicon the best I can before installing outside. This has prolonged the life of other cheap solar lights.
Community Reviews
These KOOPER solar motion flood lights are best understood as low cost outdoor lights that are easy to install and can throw a surprisingly strong beam. The adjustable solar panel and flexible heads make placement easier, and the motion mode can light a driveway and part of the street. The main concern is durability, with reports of batteries or whole units failing after days, weeks, or months, often tied to water intrusion or weak charging. Sealing the seams with silicone is a common workaround, making this a practical pick if you are comfortable treating it as a replaceable item.
The lights can be installed without running new electrical wiring, which simplifies outdoor setup.
The solar panel can be adjusted all the way back, and the light body stays flexible for easier positioning.
The motion setting can keep a dim baseline and then switch to full brightness for about ten seconds.
Silicone sealing of seams can help prevent leaks, and the lights reportedly kept working after years.
The lights reportedly failed after only a couple of weeks or after about six months in other purchases.
The lights reportedly stopped working after 2-3 days despite ample sunlight, and warranty emails reportedly went unanswered.
Always-on mode reportedly stays at about half brightness, and alert mode can cycle on and off frequently.
Water intrusion reportedly caused a bottom light to turn brown when the unit was mounted vertically.

My experience as well for years. So I haven't bought anything solar for a long long time.
I hope someone has figured out a way to replace the damn batteries when they go bad, or at least repurpose the lights in a safe and easy way.
