This is similar to the deal from some months ago. Just remember if you don't want to pay for the subscription you at least need the sync module XR for recording to an SD card.

In my experience there is no continuous recording that you can play back. Only alarms.

I paid 65 for the xr plus module and 2k camera with 2k doorbell a few weeks ago. Much better deal. Better cameras and the xr plus has local storage and extended range. I'd wait for a better sale

This is similar to the deal from some months ago. Just remember if you don't want to pay for the subscription you at least need the sync module XR for recording to an SD card.

In my experience there is no continuous recording that you can play back. Only alarms.

Blink has the 2k wireless doorbell, 2k outdoor camera & sync module on sale today for $35 (79% off) which is an even better deal. I picked it up and got another 10% off with my blink subscription. I already have the xr plus module, I don't need another one.

Thanks for your feedback. I already have two outdoor cameras with a sync module that does local storage (always forget which model, think it is a Sync Module 2) so I have been looking for a just doorbell deal. Do you recall what is a fair price for a doorbell and sync module with local storage?

Does this mean on the doorbell camera, I couldn't view recorded video of motion with the app via local storage (with for example a Sync Module 2 I currently own and use)?

I got the xr+ module that takes micro usb and has extended range. 1400 feet I think. Cost me 65 for the xr plus, 2k doorbell and outdoor 4. Amazon has a good sale coming up

You should be able to do it but I'm not sure since I dunno which older one you're referring to. You could check online if others have gotten it to work with the older one (I'm guessing sync module?).
