Don't trust Amazon reviews on this. Check this collar out on Tractor Supply and you'll see multiple reviews saying that the male part of the buckle is a point of failure. If you look closer at the picture showing the buckle, the male part is plastic while the female part is alloy. If you use a harness then this isn't as much of an issue but still something to consider. Also this material collects dog hair like crazy (and what dog doesn't shed?).
