Too overpriced. Go to Chilis, you can get the 3 for me. You get an appetizer, The Big QP burger, fries and a drink all for $10.99. Dine in or Chilis To Go, all day, every day, no coupon needed.

I made the mistake of eating at Shake Shack for the first and last time recently. $22 for a sub-mediocre burger, the same crinkle fries your school cafeteria made, and a drink I couldn't get refilled. Service was glacially slow and the place was packed.

In-n-out is a good fast food burger relative to price for quality you get

Five Guys and Shake Shake has better burgers in my opinion, but prices are a bit high for what you pay for

Community Reviews

Shake Shack's free burger with a $10 purchase reads as a solid fast food value, especially for people who want a ShackBurger without needing a second person or a rewards account. The promo can work well with fries, onion rings, shakes, or another sandwich, and the fresh Angus beef gets praised over cheaper chains. The main knocks are the high base prices, occasional slow service, confusing kiosk ordering, and reports of locations running out of items. It lands as a convenient way to stretch a $10 spend when the menu is in stock.

  • The promo can let you get a single ShackBurger valued around $8 to $9 for free after a $10 purchase.

    INeverPayRetail

  • The offer can work well for solo orders because it does not require a second person to redeem a free item.

    qqzj

  • Ordering through the app can avoid confusion from the kiosk promo flow and still produce a low total for two sandwiches.

    Lazarous86

  • Shake Shack meat is reportedly fresh and not frozen, which can support better burger quality versus some other chains.

    HomerJay

  • Service can be very slow and drinks may not be refillable during a packed visit.

    LordHypnos

  • Some locations may run out of key items and only disclose shortages at the pickup window.

    minwild

  • The deal can feel overpriced compared with nearby alternatives like Chili's 3 for me pricing.

    MyRealAccount

  • The kiosk interface can be confusing for entering promo information, which may force switching to the app.

The local place is an overpriced joke. Right this moment locally they are out of Cheese (yes cheese!). And they don't tell you until you're at the window picking up order. Out of the west coast chicken sandwich. AND out of the Reese's shake. SERIOUSLY? Not sure how this location is still in business. Rarely see anyone there. That combination just doesn't make sense.

Same. My son and I went and spent $40! I just don't understand the hype of this place. And for the commenter who asked for better places than this, if you don't know 3 or 4 local joints better than Shake Shack that's your problem.
its crazy that a fast food meal can be $20/person these days

This is better than BOGO! What if you don't have two people to use the 2nd one? So this is actually better. The only thing not so great is that they don't give the option to add an extra patty to make it a double. Other than that it is fairly good. I tried loaded cheese fries last time and mac'n cheese this time. Both are fine. For $10, you just can't ask for more these days. The nearest Chili's and Red Robin are like 20 miles away. Not worth the drive. This is definitely better than McD. But I am not sure about Wendy's. Dave's Double is legit, esp. after you add bacon to it.

Do the survey on the receipt. That gets action better than a Google review

Yes Shake Shack is pricey but the meat is fresh, and not frozen, Angus beef. Everything at Chili's come frozen
