2022 model with 2gb ram and fire os .... yeah definitely not worth it.

Would this be just fine aa exclusively for an mtg commander life counter? Screen on for at least 6 hrs on 60% brightness and not super laggy?

There is nothing in the settings to keep the display from timing out, not even in the developer options. I have this one from the last 7in 2022 deal and the 10 in. Fire tablet. If someone else knows a way to fix that, please chime in.

I've owned 3 fire tablets (2 passed on to me) and all annoyed me due to the sluggishness and locked down version of Android. Not to mention the non-stop Amazon / Prime ads. Can't even see this at $10 unless you could side load a really lite version of Android on it...which I don't think is feasible.

These definitely have their place! Most certainly not zippy enough for most adult use-cases.... I'd rather chew my own arm off than have to actually use this for any appreciable length of time. But we have a few of these from the last similar deal, and give them to our kids on plane-rides. Definitely good enough to download/store a couple dozen or so movies/tv-series and a few basic silly games to keep kids entertained.

So cheap! Heck - the cases we bought for these cost more than the devices themselves. Big Grin
