I had a soft spot for the first game and when I downloaded the demo and it started out in Cornelia I was pumped. I was ready to finish this long dialogue and explore the city and the castle, seeing what improvements are made... but then after all the dialogue ended they asked if I wanted to accept the quest and I hit sure and was transported to the the first enemy castle, no overworld or adventure or anything, it just throws you in, similar to FF16. Combat was super confusing and it was just a colossal disappointment, I didn't even finish the demo.
This got pre-release hate because the main character in the trailer was pretty ridiculous about screaming. In the actual game the voice acting was toned down a bit though.
It does have some performance woes but i dont think they are game breaking on the ps5. They def could have been for the ps4 version though.
My main issue was that the controls are similar to Nioh and as a fromsoft person, they are always difficult for me to get used to.
If you have a ps5pro this probably doesn't have many performance hiccups (or at least less than the base ps5)
