Meh. With the 20% discount in the app and the new buyer 30% deal, maybe you can get this price, but that's a lot of hoops to jump through. Rebel has the Marseille blue for 232. I suspect you can get better deals at a Le Creuset outlet or via the main kitchen supply chains (Sur le Table, Wm.s Sonoma) during Black Friday or other specials. I got my 6.75 quart risotto pot at an outlet (1st quality) for about 170 some years back. It's still going strong so the extra price over the Chinese imitations is worth the expense. There are also fakes out there so buyer beware.

Oval bread ovens are non discountable items at the outlets.

I bought my 6.5 tall for $187 on QVC. Sold as is. It came in perfect condition and it still had the stickers on.

I understand it maybe a deal for this brand but really why $200-300 for a pot what does it do that a $40 one doesn't

It's what it doesn't do that makes the higher price worth it. It doesn't have a fragile friable enamel coating that will fail after a few uses. I've seen many Lodge & Martha Stewart brand pots with large chunks of enamel missing making them unsafe to use. This is the reason to pay the extra money. Of course, you can always opt for a decent plain cast iron dutch oven, like Lodge makes, that is much less expensive and more durable. You only need to be careful not to cook overly acid foods that might interact with the metal.
