The homebase 3 is $200 by itself right now so you are getting 2 cameras for free. I have homebase 2 and it works great with my eufy doorbell camera. Very temping even with not the best cameras.

I found the Homebase 3 for $140 on newegg with the promo code so it may be better to get it seperately if you want better night vision cameras

I have one of them. Old model but worked fine. Worked fine for 3 years in the hot florida sun. Sun finally took its tool. Great price!

No fees. Just be sure the homebase is within wifi range and the camera is within the homebase range.

I have two solar cam, one indoor plugin, door lock and a doorbell all eufy and they all suck they record every other motion! The video never plays from first attempt always have to wait until it finishes loading and says retry then Im able to play it

This particular eufy cam cannot record 24/7. IMHO with BF coming up, this is not a deal unless you need it now. Home base 3 has been as low as $90 and these cams go on sale from $35-$40 as well.

As far as eufy goes, the cameras and ecosystem are great especially if your wifi coverage is strong. Otherwise, look at a POE surveillance system. I have a variety of 9 eufy cams connected to HB3 and it works flawlessly, and is subscription free.

The way eufy implements color night vision, is basically adding a built in spotlight, which s230 has but not s220. This is way different than how wyze does color night vision.

Related to this: it's worth investing into a mesh network to ensure outdoor cameras are well within the network's wireless range. My access to live feeds for my outdoor cams drastically improved (while attempting access within network, and via cellular) once I added enough nodes to my mesh.

Checked it tonight - its ambient light from the street lights. Once I turn on night vision, it goes black and white. Turn it off, color. The more you know....
