Community Reviews

The onn 4K Pro is a fast Google TV streamer that stands out for sideloading, a cleaner launcher option, and solid everyday streaming performance. It feels snappy, supports phone apps as tiles, and the 32GB storage leaves room for extras. The main tradeoffs are its 100 Mbps Ethernet port, USB 2.0, and limited headroom for very high bitrate or TrueHD Atmos playback. At around $50 to $60, it lands as a strong value for most streaming setups.

this is being returned, not even worth $50, poor picture quality with interlaced OTA and any older mpeg files, pure garbage, the older android streamers were really good at what this cant do. So the only remaining device that's OK at everything is the Apple TV, too bad its remote is garbage and cant map number or color keys from other remotes. There really isn't a great device out there.

Ethernet on this is wasted since it's only a 100mbps port. Wifi is MUCH faster than this which matters for many people. The Plus is still plenty fast for me. Even the old onn 4k non-plus is still chugging along, though the Plus does feel a lot snappier and plays games better. Using this for all the regular Tv stuff plus up to N64/PSP gaming. Love love it for 2player Mario Kart with my wife.

First time Onn user, so far, pretty nice..smooth and responsive. As a Google TV user, I jumped right in and installed Projectivity, SmartTube, Morphed Amazon Prime and Tubi, Button remappers. I bought this mainly for online streaming, not local playback.

Here are my speed tests for using USB Ethernet adapters:

Cable Matters (Type-A, 1Gbps, Model#: 202013)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BBD7NFU
Down: 136Mbps
Up: 368Mbps

TP-Link (Type-C, 1Gbps, Model#: UE300C)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HQBC678
Down: 280Mbps
Up: 352Mbps

UGREEN (Type-C, 1Gbps)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082K62S48
Down: 287Mbps
Up: 352Mbps

UGREEN (Type-A, 2.5Gbps)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CWV2Q6HJ
Down: 145Mbps
Up: 369Mbps

WAVLINK (Type-C, 2.5Gbps, Model#: CM648)

WTF only a 100Mbps ethernet port? What day in age is it? Should have at least 1Gb if not 2.5Gb port.

I still have the V1 version of this. I notice usb playback on Mx Player Pro, it lags sometimes. Not sure if its my usb drive or the port. Any other video player thats good on this device? My streaming apps are fine, and run 4K content easy.

Did the base price go up? I swear MSRP used to be $60 but that was also when the Google Streamer was $100
