Whenever they say peak power you divide it in half, so 1500/2=750

Its all lies and wattage only indicates the equivalent of fuel consumption not the quality of work done like horsepower. I have 500 w motors that feel nearly twice as powerful as other 500 watts. I agree nominal and peak should be standard but Chinese manufacturers over or underestimate the power rating to fit the market they are targeting, like overestimating for usa market and underestimating for EU market

Truth is the first casualty as usual

On paper these specs are phenomenal for price. Id take the gamble if i were more flush

Further proving people that overuse exclamation points usually are the most wrong and clueless when giving advice.

AliExpress (just like with eBay) are made up from many different merchants.

While someone can get a few bad merchants (on any of these platforms), they are still totally independent experiences and can vary each time.

There's only about 5000 per year in the entire country too... Plus, afaik, no power tool mfgs have active BMS/cell balancing in any of their tool batteries, which are used hard, banged around, dropped off ladders, etc.

Lithium batteries are really pretty damn safe, assuming you damage the individual cells themselves, esp when considering there are hundreds of millions of them in the country.
