The Vitamix E320 is a powerful, durable workhorse blender best suited for big batches, soups, smoothies, and other heavy blending jobs. It is praised for strong torque, reliable performance, and a simple design with less to go wrong, and the 64 ounce pitcher adds capacity for family use. The wider jar needs about 2 to 3 cups to blend properly, and it lacks preset programs for smoothies or soup. It is also loud, and the size can be too much for small tasks, making it a solid fit when power matters more than convenience.
Home cooks making big smoothie batches or hot soups, because the motor has enough power for consistent blending and reliable long-term use.
Cooks who want a simple blender without preset programs, because the controls are straightforward and there is less to go wrong.
People who value a durable countertop blender, because it has a workhorse reputation and can keep performing for years.
Buyers comparing against cheaper blenders, because the brushless motor delivers more torque and faster blending.
People blending small batches, because the wider jar needs about two to three cups to blend properly.
Shoppers who want preset smoothie or soup programs, because this model does not include automatic programming.
Kitchen setups needing a food processor replacement, because it will not handle every task and can be too large for small jobs.

That said, just like any other blender, it's not meant to do everything. It won't replace a food processor (though they have a dedicated food processor attachment) and there'll be times when it's just too big for what you want. So in our kitchen, we have a Vitamix blender, an old school Kitchenaid food processor, and a Nutribullet for small things like turning small blocks of hard cheese into powder.
So if you have realistic expectations and a decent understanding of how to cook, you'll definitely appreciate these.
Warranties (i.e. motor quality ) vary by line.
