The Vitamix E320 is a powerful, durable workhorse blender best suited for big batches, soups, smoothies, and other heavy blending jobs. It is praised for strong torque, reliable performance, and a simple design with less to go wrong, and the 64 ounce pitcher adds capacity for family use. The wider jar needs about 2 to 3 cups to blend properly, and it lacks preset programs for smoothies or soup. It is also loud, and the size can be too much for small tasks, making it a solid fit when power matters more than convenience.

Common Questions (5)

  • No preset smoothie or soup programs are included. It is a manual blender, so it works best if you already know how to control blending time and speed.

  • The E320's wider jar needs about 2 to 3 cups of ingredients to blend properly, so it is less convenient for very small batches. It is better suited to larger smoothies, soups, and other bigger-volume jobs.

  • It comes with a 64 oz pitcher. That larger container is one reason it is aimed at bigger batches rather than small single-serving blends.

  • It is loud because the motor is strong. That tradeoff comes with the high torque and power that make it a workhorse blender.

  • No, it will not replace a food processor. It can handle soups, smoothies, and even rice powder with the dry-ingredients attachment, but a separate food processor is still useful for tasks like small hard-cheese grinding.

I bought this model from Sam's club about three years ago. People will diss it but it has worked flawlessly for my family since I got it. I would highly recommend it.

Add one of the cheap scrapers for $12 or $15 and you can use the welcome coupon to save an extra 10 bucks when you sign up for emails. I also had a %15 cash back from Vitamix on my Chase offers.

Anyone who's used to making smaller batches beware the wider jar on the E320 requires a larger minimum volume (about 2 to 3 cups) to blend properly.

There is no pre-programming like smoothy , soup, etc. If you know how , it should not be a problem. People are picky.

We have an older version of this we bought from Costco about 11 years ago, it is an absolute workhorse of a blender. I don't need fancy preset button, I have eyes to see what the texture I'm blending looks like. We have used it for tons of different things, and has never failed to blend everything and anything we throw in it. These Vitamix units are probably some of the last appliances that still exist you can hand down to your kids. Of course you are paying for that quality and performance, especially in times when you can buy a cheap blender for $25 from Walmart.

We paid $300 for our unit, when it was on sale and I could buy another one without a 2nd thought. Funny thing is as we have hosted dinners for friends and family, people are always so impressed with how well our works, to the point where at least 4 of them have bought their own vitamix blenders since using ours.

I bought mine reconditioned on Amazon maybe 5-6 years ago. This is definitely a workhorse! It's loud because the motor is strong.

You are paying for the brushless motor... tones of torque. A brushless motor is an electric motor that operates without mechanical brushes or a commutator, using electronic control to switch current direction in the windings. This design reduces wear, improves efficiency, and often allows higher speeds and longer life compared to brushed motors.

Someone may say... my Ninja is the shit but the Ninja does not have a Brushless motor. I have a Ninja... it's good but you can't compare the two... this one is on another level.

It is the same concept as sheering a dog... you get a sheer with a brushless motor and you need to spend at least $200... I spent more. Or you can get a cheap one for $50.00 or less... but one with a lot less torque making the job harder and alot longer (but not impossible).
