Even with the higher streaming costs I still find it really weird when a person actually buys a dvd or bluray in 2026.

I get DVD but Blu-ray has virtually the same picture quality as 4k streaming and 4k Blu-ray is better. Not that weird.

Watching this in 480p is criminal, even upscaled. At least get Blu-ray if you're going with physical media.

No one should buy this on DVD. Blurays of these can be had for dirt cheap and I even found the 4k in a thrifts store not once but twice.

I haven't seen the movie but if it was found twice in thrift stores, I have to ask: is it worth watching at any price?

It has an IMDB rating of 8 out of 10 and a 91% Rotten Tomatoes score. It is in the IMDB top 250 movies of all time and all movies. So yes, if you are into cinema it is on a "must watch" category. Personally I don't think it is quite that high, but it is well done and pretty enjoyable. Personally I prefer it in 3D, but not everyone has that setup.

If you have prime, it is free to watch for the next 3 days. (and you can buy the UHD steam for $5 and it is MA compatible) if you can't watch it free in the next 3 days OR if you don't have Prime.

Thanks for the info. I have Prime but based on the summary, I'll pass.
