The one I got the filter is not the rigid style filter. I used a generic universal washable hepa filter i got at lowes in the discount section a few years back.

Is HART going out of business? I just bought one last month and was unable to find a replacement filter and dust bag for this unit. Has anyone had any luck?

The bags and filters are always on clearance at my Walmart here in South Florida. Use the bags for my 12 gallon stealthsonic

The Hart brand is owned by Techtronic Industries (TTI) which is the same parent company behind Milwaukee, Ryobi, and Ridgid. It is not interchangable with the other brands. It was made for Walmart, but is being discontinued. Walmart is selling whatever it has left at discount and then it's over for Hart. Walmart's new line is Greenworks

I wouldn't risk it. I hate having a perfectly good machine and watch it die because it got discontinued.
