Staub makes great cast iron, but the only problem I have with them is the black interior. It makes it a little more difficult to see what's going on in there compared to the beige/light color of Le Creuset.

I don't know what to do with a cocette. It took me years to even use my dutch oven correctly.

I suspect this is straight ceramic. No iron at all. For serving, not cooking.

On the other hand that dark interior doesn't show marks like the light Le Creuset does
