I can't imagine spending $70 on a waffle maker, am I missing something?

My wife and I love this design as we make waffles for the week and freeze them. These squares fit perfect in a toaster to reheat them.

I got the waffle plates for my griddler and started doing the same. It's awesome.

Depends on your situation, how many you make at once and how often. Personally, I just got the waffle plates for my griddler and it's incredible plus I don't have another appliance to try and find a spot to store

The $70 made sense here once I did the freezer math. We do a double batch on Sunday, the squares go straight from the freezer to the toaster all week, and the kids think they're getting a treat. That's most of a month of not buying the boxed ones. The cheap maker we had before died inside a year.
