Yes, for light duty these are fantastic. I wish it had a larger battery. For a while they were selling some of the 40v stuff for roughly the list price of the included battery. That's not the case here, and the small batteries are not great with the chainsaw. Too much draw in a short window of time.
Even the 8ah doesn't last give a ton of run time, but since you're generally running it for really short bursts you get decent wall clock time.
