I'm not a keyboard guy but I bought a Drop keyboard because it was cool and I was lightly intoxicated (one of the LOTR ones) and damn its sweet. There may well be better alternatives for lower prices, as I bought mine entirely for the cosmetic look, but when I come back to work and use my crappy $40 mechanical keyboard I bought for here, i realize how spoiled I've been. I guess I'm saying if you have the money to toss around and want to try this, I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

I'm heartbroken that the LoTR one is sold out. I discovered it by your comment and found it OOS at the same time. What a whirlwind of emotions

Drop was about 6 years ahead of the keyboard enthusiast market. Others have since caught up and probably passed them in terms of both value and innovation. The sense 75 was disappointing and probably signaled the beginning of the end. My daily driver is a crush80 w SA oblotzky caps from drop that I got for ridiculously cheap.

Awww that sucks, I had no idea. I got super lucky and the one I wanted (blackspeech) went on sale on amazon for 80 bucks. It was OOS but after like 8 months or something crazy it ended up shipping to me. I see the Dwarvish one and the black speech one on amazon still...but at full price.
