The sides by themselves are expensive. And if you complete the deal with $15 in sides, it is not really much better than buying a 8 piece family meal at regular price.

But it will let let you stack the 4 piece deal ($10) and a 2 piece deal with this deal ($5.99). There are probably some other good combos but I ended up with:

14 pieces of chicken, 3 biscuits, and 3 individual potatoes for $17.11 plus tax.

Which is a good deal and even better if you put together an all chicken deal and make your own sides, but I am too lazy for that.

I believe my local KFC is the absolute worst. They literally operate both a Taco Bell and a KFC in the same building. I tried their sandwich a week ago, since I hadn't eaten KFC in years, and I actually got sick.

Their equipment at my local one is still there from the nineties when I used to go and they hire all these drug addicts who get angry when you give them business. I stopped going.

Wow, only one positive ("good deal") comment. We don't do a lot of fast food these days and it's been a long time what we did get was KFC, but back in the day .... Just two of us now and KFC was always better when it was warm.
