Years ago, I used to spend $25–$30 on Black+Decker, Hamilton Beach, and Oster blenders with only 700W (or even less) and just a four-blade system. Those would burn out quickly after making a few thick green smoothies.
This blender can't be any worse than those in terms of longevity. In fact, given the much more powerful motor and eight-blade system, I'm curious to see how it performs.
Also, this brand is "new on Amazon," so they may be pricing it this low initially to establish a presence and gain traction on the platform. I don't think it will remain at such a low price for long. So, don't forget to leave them an honest review after you use it.

Most likely this won't be any better/stronger/long-livinger than your B+D or Oster from back then.
