Received email from T-mobile:
The Regulatory Programs & Telco Recovery Fee on your monthly bill will increase by $1.00/line for voice lines of service and $0.50/line for data only lines effective 10/12/2026.


It's crazy how much taxes and fees we pay on the phone bills

This isn't a slick deal, it's a social media post. This is how they raise prices without raising the price, it's not a tax.
It's not affecting prepaid customers or plans with "Taxes & Fees Included" like Magenta plans. I've been prepay for years now and pay less for the exact same service as contract.
