Quick review on my part since I received mine and used it. I normally wear a size large and a size large in this fit well. If anything I'd say it leans towards the smaller size, so if you're in between sizes, size up.
The thumb holes are super nice. The hood is nice. It's relatively warm but not super warm. Not sure I'd be wearing this on a hot day though - it's not what I would call ultra thin.
I live in Washington State and I used it on a 14 mile round trip bike ride to/from a hiking trail (the road was washed out so we had to bike to get to the trailhead), and then on a portion of the 8 mile round trip hike. It was nice all around. The sleeves were long enough that I could bike with it and still use the thumb holes but not so long that if I wasn't using them that it was sloppy to be walking around.
The one thing that is not great is that the material is not stretchy enough. They don't use enough spandex (only 5%) so the material is somewhat stiff and doesn't have a lot of stretch. For example, if you have 32° t-shirts, this has only a fraction of the stretch. Still good for the price point but I wouldn't spend a whole lot more.
