WORKPRO's 8 piece flex head ratcheting metric wrench set stands out as a compact, budget friendly option for tight automotive work and a car kit. The 72 tooth ratcheting action and flex head make it useful in cramped spaces, and the included sizes cover common jobs like battery terminals and 10 millimeter fasteners. Long term use has held up well, with several years of service reported and quality described as solid for the money. The main tradeoff is the missing 9, 16, 18, and 19 millimeter sizes, though some of those gaps can be covered with SAE equivalents.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The 10mm size makes it useful for battery terminals and other common automotive tasks, and it is a practical car-kit set for tight spaces where a socket may not fit.
It is not quite as good as Gearwrench, but it is still considered very good for the money and good enough for most DIYers. Compared with other budget sets, the price works out to under four dollars per wrench.
The set has held up well in long-term use, with reports of 2 years and even about 5 years without breakage. It is described as solid quality for the money, though it is not the kind of wrench set people would choose for heavy everyday abuse.
16mm is close to 5/8 SAE, and 19mm is close to 3/4 SAE. Those equivalents can cover some jobs, but the fit is not universal for every fastener.
The set includes 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, and 17mm. It skips 9mm, 16mm, 18mm, and 19mm, so it covers most common jobs but not every metric size.

Edit - for some reason refreshing not once, not twice, but three times got it to work. Keep trying!

I say that because the comparison is other inexpensive tools at an "every day" price meaning is there a hurry to run out and buy these when there might be something similar I could get any day of the week for a comparable price.
HF sells a Pittsburg set (with lifetime warranty), 5 pc for $32. This deal is 8 for $30, which is why I am saying it sounds like a good deal. The only risk perhaps is if one breaks, getting a replacement might be sketchy (vs HF you just walk in and get another), but really these style of wrenches in general aren't designed for massive amounts of force anyway so I say if you break one you were using it wrong.
