16 mm is not but 5/8 SAE covers it. 19mm more common but 3/4 SAE covers it. these two sizes just happen to be really good equivalents...most sizes that doesn't work.

WORKPRO's 8 piece flex head ratcheting metric wrench set stands out as a compact, budget friendly option for tight automotive work and a car kit. The 72 tooth ratcheting action and flex head make it useful in cramped spaces, and the included sizes cover common jobs like battery terminals and 10 millimeter fasteners. Long term use has held up well, with several years of service reported and quality described as solid for the money. The main tradeoff is the missing 9, 16, 18, and 19 millimeter sizes, though some of those gaps can be covered with SAE equivalents.

  • The flex-head ratcheting combination wrenches have held up for years without breaking.

    tiggertiggermekkis

  • The metric set covers common sizes like 8 through 15mm plus 17mm for many everyday jobs.

    librarynerd101OliveCheetah969

  • The set works well for car battery terminal work and other automotive reinstall tasks.

    JookmastaTbisu6

  • The flex-head design helps in tight spaces where a socket cannot fit comfortably.

    Kracker509RobertR2908

  • The set skips several metric sizes including 9mm, 16mm, 18mm, and 19mm.

    librarynerd101OliveCheetah969

  • Replacement support may feel less straightforward if a wrench breaks compared with brands that offer easy walk-in exchanges.

    Dr. J

  • The combination wrench design may feel less ideal for everyday use compared with more preferred wrench styles.

    RobertR2908

  • The ratcheting feel can be comparable to other budget sets, but some buyers prefer smoother jaws from a different $40 option.

Do you have a link to the hyper tough 8-19 flex head set for $40? I'm seeing $50
That's the newer "hyper bite" set, torque test channel did a video not too long ago testing them and the workpro and their performance was pretty similar.
I personally prefer the smooth jaws of the $40 set.

I randomly bought these exact wrenches ~5 years ago and was really surprised at the quality. Definitely worth the money.

Finally a much more relevant and sane deal - hex and metric. Nobody uses SAE anymore, and the 12-point was a ridiculous design flop. I bought longer set with 8×10mm, 12×13mm, 14×15mm, 16×18mm, and 17×19mm - just made more sense to me with 9-6" length. It is $50 and the code doesn't apply, I checked. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...94570&th=1
I picked these up a few weeks ago from here. Was $26.

Head over to AliExpress and check out the WorkPro store, their SAE socket set is on sale for around $15–$16.
Shipping seems regional. The listing shows up for me, but when I click it, it says "cannot ship to your location." I've seen this happen before on AliExpress deals shared here, some people can buy it fine while others get region-blocked. YMMV

Not quite as good as Gearwrench, but really quite good for the money and good enough for most any DIYer.

Have you ever used 6 point wrenches? They grip better of course but can be difficult to get on a fastener if you have limited access and if you had plenty of room you would use a socket.

These are combination wrenches not sockets. You'll never find a set of flex head ratcheting combination with six points let alone regular wrenches anywhere near this price.
