Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

These are great, but they are heavy, so not very easy to carry around. Still super versitile and useful though.

I'm gonna risk saving the 30 bucks and going with the factory refurb megalite 18. Not going to be able to get much cheaper then 150 for one of these. Hopefully it survives UPS or god forbid Fedex.

My previous order from Woot shipped by UPS. They split it into multiple shipments that arrived on separate days, even though the delivery receipt claimed after the first package that 1 package completed the delivery, and it was very confusing.

Costco has the MegaLite M18 + wall rack for $199, but they now apparently exclude the levelers!

Although the MegaLite+ 2.0 saves you about 3.4lbs and an inch of folded space, the MegaLite+, model 11537-803 saves you $23.49 vs. the 2.0 version which has essentailly the same specs, including wheels and levelers.

That's the one I bought (MegaLite+, model 11537-803) for $182.96 including tax.

Thanks, OP.

Yeah, I have a couple of these and other brands. What you're looking for here is wheels to drag it along instead of having to lift it places. That gets old fast. If you're just going to lug it, get the gorilla multi-position ladders at any home depot or Lowe's. Same weight and size, way more stable in extension ladder mode. LG still has some flex in the hinge as extension.

The real killer feature with the multi-position ladders is levelers that let you adjust for uneven terrain. They'll add about 5lb per leg (2/4 legs total) but they're so much more stable and this is already heavy. Must have if you live alone and have uneven ground.

For just wheels though, just get it from Costco for their return policy so you have an out if you decide it's too heavy a month or two down the line.

I'll second the recommendation for the levelers. I swapped out a very old LG ladder for a newer model that came with levelers when there was an excellent deal awhile back. I find the newer ladder much more versatile and I feel much safer using it solo. That being said I would not recommend one of these if the main use is going to be in full extension. They're heavy and much harder to maneuver compared to a traditional extension ladder.
