This 64GB SanDisk High Endurance Ring Edge microSD card is built for frequent overwrites, making it a fit for dash cams, surveillance cameras, and Ring Alarm Pro local storage. The card is described as working in any device that accepts microSD, with several reports of solid performance in hot and cold conditions and in 24, 7 recording setups. The main caveat is compatibility and longevity, since some dash cams do not support 64GB cards or prefer max endurance models, and a few reports describe SanDisk endurance card failures in certain camera setups. A practical option if your device supports the capacity and endurance class.
High Endurance microSD cards are designed for continuous loop recording in dashcams and surveillance cameras.
High Endurance cards are made for frequent write and overwrite workloads compared with normal SD cards.
The card can be used in a Ring Alarm Pro base station to enable local processing and storage for select Ring cameras.
Real-world use in a dash cam has reportedly handled extreme heat and sub-zero cold without issues.
A known dash-cam issue has been reported for SanDisk High Endurance cards, leading to avoidance for certain dashcam models.
Some dashcams may not support 64GB cards reliably and may require 256GB to 512GB instead.
The 64GB High Endurance rating of 5,000 hours may be limiting for 24/7 camera use.
Reliability concerns have been reported, including multiple dead SanDisk High Endurance microSD cards over two years.

I have used these for a decade+ for my dash cam. Here it can be 140+ in direct light... add the cars closed interior, recipe for disaster. Cold weather also, sub zero one winter and others push teens to 20s at nite.
Have not had any issues. Only replacement was when it was stolen from cam. Not an everyday item SD, made for extreme weather.
I got 2. Let's see if it gets shipped.

A 64GB card could save a little over 3 weeks of 24/7 recordings, which is still very good. I opted for the 256 because it was way before the demand for NAND.
