For that matter are we the only people that keep a "stock" of things we come across over the course of time to use as presents?
These would generally be used for people that maybe you aren't super in touch with in terms of seeing them all the time or big friends but would see at Christmastime - so basically someone you are compelled to give a present to but don't necessarily want to run out and shop for. For those cases and these sort of sales I'll usually get a mix of stuff for myself or family, then get some more generic sizes my wife can use as presents for F&F. Saves her time and hassle from doing all that extra shopping plus we save $$.
I also use sales like these (common for Costco) to stock up on kids clothing.
