I'm more concerned about the 8GB RAM over the storage. I would buy if it was 16GB RAM but with just the 256G SSD. Either way, this deal sold pretty quick.. must have been low stock count.

You sound like everyone 3 years ago when it was 4 vs 8. I have the 10th gen version of this and actually paid more around $300 OTD and have absolutely zero issues checking gmail streaming/YouTube.
