Good for getting booze on a cruise too unless security has changed a lot.

I've been using this for years for hiking and climbing and they are great. The only problem is that when you get home and try to air dry them, they take days for the remaining moisture on the inside to evaporate. Perhaps a hair dryer at a low setting and held at a distance would help - idk. I prefer these over the zip style (which would dry a lot faster and can be wiped) because these have nearly no chance of leaking inside my pack.

Reviews on Amazon say it does, but you have to be a bit careful when threading onto the sawyer

Similar to my bladder for my hydration pack...I just throw it in the freezer honestly and pull out when ready to fill for the next ride so it doesn't get all warm and nasty with odor inside

Cool idea. It's a shame that the dryer costs more/same as the cost of the bottle. I personally dislike such narrow mouth bottles as you can never completely clean them inside out. This is why Nalgene is making such a comeback.

I ended up with a HydraPak because my previous CamelBaks had the same problem you're having. I like the HydraPak because the top just opens up completely, I think they make bladders for others too.

It did just give me the idea of using a rolled up paper towel though, that might be the more cost effective option.
