I've usually heard these called a fanny pack or...another term.

The model in the pic seems uncomfortable with the idea of wearing it.

I have this from the last sale and will echo a lot of the reviews regarding the clasps. It's a major flaw in this product, mine broke after a few uses, which made it useless.

Wide straps are generally more comfortable for waist bags/fanny packs especially if you tend to wear them across your chest compared to the traditional way.

Which is how I normally wear mine (across the chest), seeing how narrow the strap is makes me wonder how much will it dig into my shoulders.

As for the image of the model, it definitely seems a little too tight for him.
