Is it worth owning both? Meaning, do they really serve different purposes?

I just used the telescoping scrubber along with my somewhat underpowered power washer to clean my house siding. It worked quite well and I'm happy with the purchase. I plan to use the handheld on my shower doors.

Debated getting one of these a few times when they go on sale. The problem is they use a proprietary coupling so you have to buy the different heads if you want to do different things. It seemed easier just to spend 10-25 bucks on a bunch of different heads that fit in a drill with the standard chuck.

Insofar as the telescoping version reaches places you can't easily get to by hand? Yes, they serve different purposes.

I get that, but then is it also still worth buying the short one?

Opposite response. I can't imagine using that big stick to clean the shower. They both do the same thing, but it be is clearly for out-of-reach places while the other is for in-reach

I was thinking for the floor? If you have a tile floor or tile shower.

That works fine in some scenarios, but your drill isn't waterproof.
